Fit-Tech Wearable Startup RooSense Evolves to SweatID November 1

Nov 9, 2021 | Press

RooSense, a consumer diagnostic company that provides users with rehydration strategies based on real-time data, announced today it has changed the company name to SweatID. The change is effective Nov. 1, 2021.

The name change comes in an effort to increase the customer experience and better express who the company is and what it does. “We think about our customer’s sweat as being as unique as their fingerprint,” said Chelsea Monty-Bromer, CEO and Founder of the company. “Giving them their SweatID will allow our customers to learn about their body to increase performance and decrease injury.”

SweatID has seen significant growth and achievements in 2021, including being named a RunnerUp in the Key4Women competition and named Most Promising Startup in the Greater Cleveland Partnership Best of Tech awards.

“There’s a lot to look forward to in 2022 as well,” Monty-Bromer said. “We’ve got a lot of pilot tests with potential customers lined up that will further validate our SweatID system.”
