Join us in welcoming our newest interns at RooSense! We are excited to highlight these talented individuals and look forward to their contributions. 

Justine May

Justine May is a Chemical Engineering student attending the University of Akron. She has done undergraduate research in Computer Aided Molecular Design at the university. Justine has worked in the rubber industry in previous internship experiences. She also captains the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team in Akron. 

Orlando Lopez

Orlando Lopez is a senior Chemical Engineering student at Cleveland State University who will be pursuing a Masters in chemical engineering upon graduation. He has taught and mentored Calculus I students as a STEM Peer Teacher and served as President of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). In his free time, Orlando enjoys Crossfit, playing volleyball, and meeting new people. 

Ruth Kurak

Ruth Kurak is a senior in Chemical Engineering at Cleveland State University. She has previously interned in a food science company and has been a teaching assistant for engineering labs. She hopes to gain lab experience and is excited to learn a new process.

Sofia Ouzidane

Sofia Ouzidane is a senior at Case Western Reserve University majoring in biology on the pre-medical track. She has previous experience with social media and marketing through leadership roles on campus organizing fundraisers. Sofia is excited to be working with Roosense this summer!
