RooSense named finalist in regional pitch contest

Sep 9, 2021 | Press

RooSense, a consumer diagnostic company that provides users with rehydration strategies based on real-time data, announced today it has been named a finalist in the Score and Key4Women Pitch Contest.

The pitch contest, held for women-owned businesses in 16 counties in Northeast Ohio, consists of two groups—one for startups and the other for existing businesses. The grand prize winner will be awarded $10,000.

“I am thrilled to be named a finalist in this competition,” said Chelsea Monty-Bromer, CEO and founder of RooSense. “Not only would the cash prize help take RooSense to the next level as a start-up company, but the opportunity to be in the same room as other like-minded, entrepreneurial women has been invaluable.”

The pitch contest will be held on Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. Finalists will present a four-minute pitch and field questions for six minutes. Winners will be selected by a panel of five judges: three local women business owners and two KeyBank bankers.
